It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Pope of Tatum, Texas, born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on July 1, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carie Curtis "C. C." and Ethel Caroline Jamerson Pope; his siblings, Cecil, Rusty, Jay, Gene, Sylva and Marshall; his wife Carole Pope of Tatum, Texas; his daughters, Kelly Woods (Dana) of Tatum, Texas and Lisa Horton (Jerry) of Waxahachie, Texas; his grandchildren, Amber, Ramey Blalock, Blaze, Christine Thorpe, Kendall, Roger Mitchell, Parie, T. C. Chandamany, Katie, Dylan White, Aleda Thorpe, Jordan, Asia, Mark Ewing and Berét Thorpe; and his sister Glenda Smith of Las Vegas, Nevada. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of close friends.
