He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Palacio and Aniceta Perez; his wife Natividad Soto of Palacio; his daughter Hermelinda Soto; and his sister Pila Martinez Palacio.
He is survived by: his children, Bertha P. Rocha (Angel) of Tatum, Joe Palacio (Guadalupe) of Henderson, Maria Viesca (Jesus) of Tatum, Efren Palacio Soto Jr. (Maria Baladez) of Tatum, Roy Palacio (Veronica) of Beckville and Veronica Palacio (David Morales) of Tatum; and his brother Abraham Palacio of Mexico. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
