He was predeceased by: his parents, Burtis Johnson and Vergie Mae Johnson; and his brothers, Marshall Ray Johnson, Richard Johnson, Matthew Johnson and Laverl Johnson.
He is survived by: his son Keith Johnson of Carthage, Texas; his siblings, Leland Johnson of Longview, Alan Johnson (Peggy) of Carthage, Lester Johnson (Virginia) of Henderson, Larry Johnson of Timpson, Texas and Nelda Stevens of Dallas, Texas; his sister-in-law Joann Johnson of Nacogdoches, Texas; and his grandson Micah Johnson of Carthage, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.
