He was predeceased by: his parents, Rupert Hinson and Louella Daniels Hinson; his son Matthew Lynn Stockton; and his siblings, Rupert Lin Hinson and Shirley Leffel (Lucie Faye).
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Kay Hinson; his children, William Christopher Stockton and Stephanie Janell Borden; his grandchildren, Allen Ray Rosson and Christian Douglas Stockton; and his siblings, Nathan Lee Hinson, Daniel Ray Hinson, Michael Wayne Hinson, Leslie Hinson and Kay Steward (Bonnie Green). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
