He is survived by: his spouse Reina Galindo; his sons, Victor Charo III of Tahoka and Gilbert Charo of Tahoka; his daughter-in-law Julia Charo of Tahoka; his granddaughters, Diedre Arrellano of Lubbock and Victoria Johnson of Lubbock; and his great grandchildren, Ayden Johnson of Lubbock and Romyn Arrellano of Lubbock.
