It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Siria Vargas (Tahoka, Texas), born in Runge, Texas, who passed away on January 23, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel; and her children, Fermin Vargas and Rosalinda Vargas. She is survived by: her children, Henry Vargas of Lubbock, Fernando Vargas of Big Spring, Sam Vargas, Rudy Vargas, Eva Cantu of O'Donnell, Josephine Gilead of O'Donnell, Amelia Lockwood of O'Donnell, Linda Vargas of O'Donnell and Francis Fandel of San Angelo; and her sisters, Linda Montes of O'Donnell and Carolina Benavides of Killeen. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren.
