He was predeceased by: his father Elpidio Solorzano; and his brother Rudy Solorzano. He is survived by: his mother Guadalupe "Lupe" Solorzano of Tahoka; his children, Jordan Solorzano of Tahoka, Gabriel Solorzano of Tahoka, Isaiah Solorzano of Tahoka, Mercedes Self of Lubbock and Miranda Solorzano of Lubbock; and his brothers, Roy Solorzano (Diana) of Lubbock, Ernest Solorzano of Tahoka, Juan Solorzano of Tahoka and Albert Solorzano (Linda) of Lubbock. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
