She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wesley Jolly and Dovie Jolly (Bankston); her former spouse O. W. "Dub" Powers; her husband Daniel Thomas of Tahoka; and her children, Alton Kent Powers and Aleta Porter.
She is survived by: her daughter Nina Powers of Dripping Springs; her brother Larry Jolly (Ellen) of Lubbock; her grandchildren, Michele Powers Claborn, Melissa Powers Hosmer, Lex Frazier and Justin Porter; and her great grandchildren, Koby Claborn, Zachary Hosmer, Kaylee Hosmer, Mason Frazier, Macey Frazier, Maklon Frazier, Brandon Porter, Jordan Porter, Cade Maybie and Cameron Porter.
