He was predeceased by: his parents, A. B. Engle and Nellie Engle (Stanley); and his wife Donna Jones. He is survived by: his children, Jana Engle (Dennis Hamann) of Tahoka, Dena Oliphint (Bryan) of Spur, Charlie Engle (Debbie) of Tahoka, Danny Engle (Sylvia) of Fritch and David Engle (Buffy) of Seagraves; his brother Sammy Engle of Andrews; his grandchildren, Britni Hardage (Dax), Chris Engle, Trista Whitfield (Dustin), Bretton Engle (Jordan), Bayle Jolly, Slade Hamann, Reece Hamann, Reagan Mullins and Owen Mullins; and his great grandchildren, Logan Engle, Rilan Hardage, Zoey Hardage, Daniel Guillory, Jamie Guillory, Cason Engle and Camden Engle.
