She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan DeLeon and Hilaria DeLeon (Verdin); her husband Margarito Gonzales Chapa; her son-in-law Jesse Torres, Sr.; and her grandson Michael C. Torres.
She is survived by: her children, Adolph Chapa (Teresa) of Tahoka, Andrew Chapa (Lisa) of Oak Point, Manuela C. Torres of Lubbock, Frances Saldaña (Nick Jr.) of Waco and Christina Rangel (Sotero Jr.) of Tahoka; and her siblings, Anita Rodriguez (Gabriel), Lily Espinoza and Rolando DeLeon. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.
