It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andrew Saldana of Tahoka, Texas, born in Lubbock, Texas, who passed away on December 12, 2024, at the age of 22, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Domingo Riojas, Sr., Salome and Jesus Saldana; his grandfather Bibian Saldana, Sr.; and his uncle Martin Saldana.
He is survived by: his sons, Alijah Saldana of Lubbock and Zachariah Saldana of Sudan; his parents, Bibian Saldana, Jr. and Debbie Saldana; his siblings, Alexia, Eric, Marcos (Xenia) and Zaiden Perez; his nieces and nephews, Eleah, Azalea, Elyanna, Haisley, Eli Duran and Kassius Ramos; his grandparents, Oscar, Betty Garcia of Tahoka, Delores and Primitivo Camacho of Slaton; and also Andrew.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Combest Family Funeral Home - Tahoka (1821 Main St, Tahoka, TX 79373). A rosary was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the St. Jude Catholic Church (1829 S 4th St, Tahoka, TX 79373). A burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Nevels Memorial Cemetery.
