She was predeceased by: her parents, Aurora Maldonado (Garza) and Miguel Maldonado; her daughter Odilia Castillo; her former husband Julio A. Castillo; and her siblings, Mike Maldonado, Jr., Juanita Maldonado, Mary Lou Gonzales, Adolfo Maldonado and Armando Maldonado.
She is survived by: her children, Julio A. Castillo, Jr. (Yolanda), Fernando Castillo, Juan Maldonado of Taft, Texas, Zenaida Castillo Huff (Ross), Carolina Castillo of Rockport, Aurora Castillo of Ingleside and Elydia Castillo of Corpus Christi, Texas; and her sister Elena Vargas of Aransas Pass, Texas.. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
