He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elidia Castillo (Martinez) and Amador Castillo; his son Sonny Castillo; his siblings, Manuel Castillo, Eluterio Castillo, Julio Castillo, Guadalupe Pena, Josie Davila and Teressa Hernandez; his wife Odilia Maldonado of Taft, Texas; his children, Sylvester Castillo (Mary) of Houston, Cipriano Castillo (Jenelle), Silvano Castillo of Taft, Texas, Sylvia Tristan (Rodney) of Rockport and Sonia Martinez (Jose) of Big Wells, Texas; his siblings, Rey Castillo (Anna) of Taft, Texas, Elvia Gonzales (Frank) of Taft and Janie Martinez (Martin) of Ingleside, Texas; and his daughter-in-law Becky Castillo of Houston, Texas. He was also cherished by 18 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
