It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose J. Suarez Jr. of Taft, Texas, who passed away on December 1, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Sr. Suarez and Maria Suarez (Jimenez); his wife Eloisa Suarez; his children, Jose Suarez, Juan Suarez, Fermin Suarez and Eloisa Suarez; and his sons-in-law, Thomas McIntyre and Marcos Sifuentes.
He is survived by: his children, Frank Suarez (Janie) of Taft, Texas, Josie McIntyre, Lupe Sifuentes of Taft, Felipa Saldivar (Eddie) of Corpus Christi, Mary Ann Cruz (Sam) of Taft, Jo Ann Alvarado (Roy) of Taft and Mary Maldonado (Rene) of Harlingen, Texas. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren; 76 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
