He was predeceased by: his mother Juanita Saldivar (Ramirez); his wife Beatrice San Pedro Saldivar; his former wife Olivia Coy Saldivar; his children, Jessie, Johnny and JoAnn Saldivar; his grandson Jason Saldivar; and his siblings, Ramon Saldivar, Guadalupe Saldivar, Isabel Lopez, Aurora Herrera and Candelaria Gonzales.
He is survived by: his children, Belinda Saldivar (Cyndi), Joy Symington (James), Josie Fonseca (Tino), Jay Saldivar (Patricia) and Jeff Saldivar (Christina); his grandchildren, Justin, Joely, Heather, Natasha, Faith, Chase, Elyse, Eddie, Julie, Aracely, Jaymz, Bella, Olivia, Johnny, Joseph and Josie; and his sister Sylvestra Ramos. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
His hobbies were collecting barbed wire, old coins and antiques, which he later donated to The Blackland Museum in Taft, TX.
