He is survived by: his wife Cynthia; his son Shannon Tre; his cousin Vivian Hughes; his siblings, Willie James Laws Jr. (Joan) of Sharon, Massachusetts, Dr. Jane Ellen Laws of Rockwall, Texas, Betty Hopkins (Laws) of San Antonio, Texas and Sandra K. Laws of Houston, Texas; his great-aunt Fannie (Fred) of San Diego; his aunt Marcella Laws; his father-in-law Marlin "Marvin" McClendon of Minden, Louisiana; and his siblings-in-law, Taron McClendon of Shreveport, Curtis Lynn McClendon of Minden, Louisiana and Ilunga Rashae "Shae" McClendon Rhea (Mark) of Las Vegas, Nevada. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
