It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elida Sauceda of Taft, Texas, who passed away on August 5, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Candido Cruz and Maria Cruz (Garza); her husband Majin R. Sauceda, Jr.; her daughters, Maria Inez Castillo, Betty Garza, Zulema Garcia (Jose G. Garcia) of Taft, Gracy Zambrano (Robert) of Taft, Lucy S. Lopez of Taft and Helen Nesmith (Carlos) of Taft; and her siblings, Miguel Cruz (Irene) of Tulia, Inez Castillo of Taft and Maxie Cruz of Kingsville. She was also cherished by 19 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.
