It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Derek Rene Rodriguez of Taft, Texas, born in Corpus Christi, Texas, who passed away on April 1, 2024, at the age of 33, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Nancy Rodriguez (Tamez) and Rene Rodriguez; his siblings, Rene Rodriguez, Jr. (Alyssa) and Rylee Breann Rodriguez; his nephews, Ace Rodriguez and Colton Rodriguez; and his niece Brooklynn Rodriguez of Taft, Texas. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.
