He was predeceased by: his wife Eddie Mae Brittain; his daughter Connie Rose; his parents, Jesse Brittain and Effie Brittain; and his sister Kathryn Tomek (Kay).
He is survived by: his children, Wayne Brittain, Linda Petrus (Bubba), Cheryl Vandever, Robin Brittain and Gayle Brittain; his grandchildren, Corey Brittain (Kristen), Jason Brittain (Lauren), Major Joseph (Jaime), Chari Vandever Shook and Taze Vandever; his great grandchildren, Jaxon, Brooklyn, Jake, John David Brittain, Paige, Maggie Joseph and Karma Vandever; his nieces, Bonnie Tomek and Beverly Tomek Otterson; and his nephew Phil Tomek (Deb).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel (606 S San Patricio St, Sinton, TX 78387). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at the Lamas Memorial Park Cemetery (800 Ave C, Taft, TX 78390).
