She is survived by: her husband Richard Chavez of Taft, Texas; her children, Richard Chavez, Jr. of Taft, Tommy Chavez (Marisa) of Portland, Texas, Patsy Aparicio (Stevan), Cathy Cortez (Neal) of Taft and Ana Chavez (Rene Rodriguez) of Portland, Texas; her grandchildren, Brianna Aparicio, Karina Aparicio, Miranda Cortez, Stephanie Aparicio, Matthew Cortez, Aiden Chavez, Marissa Cortez, Ela Chavez, Evan Chavez, Elijah Rodriguez and Micah Rodriguez; her great grandchild Mila Grace Sanders; and her siblings, Ramon "Benny" Rodriguez of Kansas and Olga Salazar of Taft, Texas. She is also survived by brothers and sisters in law; numerous nieces and nephews.
