He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose S. Moreno and Hijinia H. Moreno; his brother Ruben; and his sister-in-law Lupe. He is survived by: his wife Maria Anita Galindo Moreno of Taft; his children, Sandra Ann Chavez (Nick) of Taft, Linda Moreno of Corpus Christi and Carlos Jr. Moreno (Celina) of Corpus Christi; his grandchildren, Cassie Burks (Brycen), Caitlyn Chavez, Kaleb Moreno and Micah Hernandez; and his siblings, Basilio Moreno (Ida), Loreto Moreno (Delfina), Rodolfo Moreno, Angelica Cuellar (Frank), Reynaldo Moreno and Manuel Moreno (Odi). He is also survived by numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
