She was predeceased by: her parents, Avelina Tobias (Villanueva) and Federico Tobias; her husband Felipe Hernandez; her children, Jorge Luis Hernandez and Elsa Montez; and her granddaughter Patricia Montez.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rosa Elena Cruz and Margie Longoria (Robert) of Taft, Texas. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren: 45 great-grandchildren; and many extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel (606 S San Patricio St, Sinton, TX 78387). A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church - Taft (120 E Escobedo St, Taft, TX 78390). A burial will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Lamas Memorial Park Cemetery (800 Ave C, Taft, TX 78390).
