He was predeceased by: his wife Modesta P. Garcia; and his children, Ernesto Garcia, Palmira Rivera and Sylvia Rivera Longoria. He is survived by: his children, Robert Garcia (Monica), Guadalupe Garcia (Sandra), Benito Rivera of Dallas, Chris Garcia, Rene Garcia of Irving, Texas, Aida Rivera and Elvira Gonzalez (Chris) of Taft, Texas. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren: numerous great-grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren; numerous siblings.
