She was predeceased by: her parents, Isabel Martinez (Gamez) and Soilo Martinez; her husband Gilberto Ortiz, Sr.; her daughters, Julia Arias, Erma Ortiz and Erminia Ortiz; her grandchildren, Arturo "Tudy" Naranjo, Jr. and Lupita Arias; and her siblings, Soilo Martinez, Jr., Juan Martinez, Ruben Martinez, Domingo Martinez, Jesus Martinez, Alejandro Martinez and Paula Tovar.
She is survived by: her children, Gilberto Ortiz, Jr. (Queta) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Raymond Ortiz of Taft, Texas, Maria Lemos (Alejandro) of Three Rivers, Texas, Norma Naranjo (Arturo) and Yolanda Castillo (Julio) of Taft, Texas; and her sisters, Isabel Santellana (Santiago), Angelita Jasso (Calixtro), Lupe Martinez of Odem, Texas and Dolores Rocha (Richard) of Austin, Texas. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren.
