With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Amelia McCune of Taft, Texas, who passed away on February 9, 2024 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuela Mendez (Camacho) and Pablo Mendez; her sisters, Adela Estrada, Celia Martinez and Palmira Diaz; her mother-in-law Frances McCune; and her stepson Jeremy McCune.
She is survived by: her husband Victor L. McCune of Taft, Texas; her daughters, Veronica Rodriguez, Janet Garcia (Michael) and Stacy Sandoval of Taft, Texas; her grandchildren, Raelynn Hernandez, Regina Hernandez, Aubriee Sarabia, Jonavon Garcia, Julianna Rached, Jeslynn Rached, Hunter McCune, Alex McCune and Kaliah F. Guerrero; her great grandchild Roman L. Garcia; and her siblings, Ernest Mendez (Patsy) of Houston, Rudy Mendez (Angie) of Taft, Texas, Leticia Vasquez (Bert) and Mary Montemayor of Taft, Texas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
