He was predeceased by: his parents, Irma Tamez, (Franco) and Alberto "Beto" Tamez; and his brother Mario Tamez. He is survived by: his sons, Alberto Manuel Tamez (Olivia) of Waco, Texas, Alfredo Tamez of Ingleside, Texas, Steven Tamez (Abigail Santos) of Taft, Texas, Eddie Tamez (Laura) of Sinton, Texas and Esteban Loredo (Lisa) of Raymondville, Texas; his grandchildren, Jaylyn Ortiz, Jonathan Ortiz, Mia Tamez, Lilyana Tamez, Alyssa Tamez of Alberto, Eliana Olvera, Brodi Tamez, Scarlett Tamez, Taylen Tamez, Diego, Delgado, Conrado Delgado, Darius Loredo, Jaliana Esme Loredo and Keanu Liam Loredo; and his siblings, Ruben Tamez (Norma), Ernest Tamez (Elva), David Tamez (Becky) of Taft, Texas, Danny Tamez (Delma) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Norma Lopez and Nancy Rodriguez (Rene) of Taft, Texas. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
