He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Larkin and Ruby Lee Jones (Wilks); his wife Maurine Jones; and his siblings, Hoytt Jones, Ivadona Farrier and Opalea Steuwer.
He is survived by: his children, Zane E. Jones, Jr. (Karen) of Troy, TX, Dr. Blair Jones (Patti) of Mansfield, TX and Lindalee "Lindy" Gillenwaters of Conroe, TX. He is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
