It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Veida Marcel Gage of Sweetwater, Texas, born in Van Buren, Arkansas, who passed away on September 21, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Andrews and Loretta Andrews (Sudduth); and her husband Ralph Gage. She is survived by: her children, Kay Byrd (Woody) of Snyder, TX and Mike Gage (Regina) of Possum Kingdom, TX; and her grandchildren, Dr. Kent Byrd of Fort Worth, TX, Lea Ann Hudson of Colorado City, TX, Whitney Reed of Roanoke, TX and Mika Malone of Haslet, TX. She is also survived by 8 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
