He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcom Ballenger and Ruby Ballenger; his brother Johnny Ballenger; and his grandson Zachary Ballenger. He is survived by: his wife Sadie Ballenger of Sweetwater, Texas; his children, Ronny Ballenger of Sweetwater, Danny Ballenger of Sweetwater, Kenny Ballenger (Christy, Kim Clift) of Sweetwater, Dan Ballenger of Sweetwater and Richard Ballenger of Sweetwater; and his siblings, Cranston Ballenger, Mike Ballenger (Kathy), Virginia Baker and Julia Soper. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
