He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramon Acuña and Anita Zapata Acuña (Ann); and his wife Gloria O. Acuña. He is survived by: his daughters, Sue Ann Ramos (Alfonso), Mary Elizondo (Jesus) of Abilene and Nancy Lopez (Clemente) of Sweetwater, Texas; his grandchildren, Magann Gaston, Abby Ramos Stanutz, Brian Ramos, Joshua Carter, Ashley Hogan, Cary Ramos, Benjamin Lopez and Adrian Lopez; his great grandchildren, Angel, Lexie, David, Timothy Tijerina, Diego Stanutz, Bodhi Ramos, Harrison Carter, Piper Hogan and Knox Hogan; his great great grandchildren, Lincoln, Lennox, Legend and Ellie; and his brother Richard Acuña.
Viewing was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home (403 Locust St, Sweetwater, TX 79556). A prayer was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A rosary was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Parish (511 W Alabama Ave, Sweetwater, TX 79556).
