We are sad to announce that on January 22, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Rufus Palacios Jr. of Sweetwater, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Concepcion Palacios (Quirino) and Rufus Palacios, Sr.; and his sisters, Maria Palacios and Mechtilde Garcia. He is survived by: his wife Ramona Palacios of Sweetwater; his children, Anthony Palacios, Elizabeth Palacios, Victoria Palacios and Kathryn Palacios; his grandchildren, Nathaniel Palacios, Aaliyah Palacios and Evelyn Palacios; and his siblings, Leandro Palacios, Veronica Rodriquez, Ermelinda Quesada, Anacleto Palacios, Severita Rosales, Martin Palacios and Rita Palacios. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
A prayer will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel (403 Locust St, Sweetwater, TX 79556). A rosary will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Parish (511 W Alabama Ave, Sweetwater, TX 79556). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Restland Cemetery (13005 Greenville Ave, Richardson, TX 75081).
