He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert T. Bishop and Violet LaVora Bishop (Barnes); and his brother John Oscar Bishop. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Bishop of Sweetwater; his sons, Robert R. Bishop, Jr. and Martin Lee Bishop; and his sister Diana Pfligerstofer of Merkel. He is also survived by three granddaughters, two grandsons, three great grandsons, two great granddaughters.
