Bentley of Sweetwater, Texas, born in Telephone, Texas, who passed away on August 30, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ules Bentley and Ila Bentley (McRae); his wife Jo Ann Sowell; and his siblings, Maria Jane Denton and Alfred "Buddy" Bentley.

He is survived by: his daughter Cynthia Bentley of Sweetwater, TX; and his sister Brenda Bentley of Sweetwater, TX..
