She was predeceased by: her husband Jelly; her son John Hefner (Bo); her brother Walter Armstrong; and her granddaughter Audrey Christopher. She is survived by: her spouse John B. Hefner; her daughters, Carol Edwards (Larry) of Richmond, Ann Dunlap of Lubbock, Patricia Thompson (Perry) of Brownwood, Brenda Kesterke (Ron) of Cypress, Robbie Cole (David) of Katy and Coralyn Torres of Lubbock; her daughter-in-law Melody Hefner of Sweetwater; and her grandsons, Jason Hefner, Clint Hefner, Travis Edwards, Kevin Edwards, Rodney Wilkinson, Jereme Cole, Jordan Torres, Rhett Torres and Courtney Wilkinson. She is also survived by grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Highland Heights Methodist Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
