It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Jo Shifflett of Sweetwater, Texas, who passed away on March 7, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Correll and Allie B. Correll (Yoakum); her husband Joe Shifflett; and her siblings, Kay Darnell, Frances Crow, Shirley Ishm, Donald Ray Correll and Jackie Correll.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Shifflett of Amarillo, TX, Linda Peeples (Del) of Dalhart, TX and Donna Ashley (Ronny) of Sweetwater, TX. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
