He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Dee Dial and Willie Izetta Dial (Reeves); his sister Bobbye Mason (Dial) of Hermleigh Texas; his half-brother Odell Dial; his son Jay Douglas Dial of Lubbock Texas; and his daughter-in-law Gail Dial (Metzger) of Topeka Kansas.

He is survived by: his spouse Wendolyn Wanda Campbell; his children, Ollie Wendell Dial of Topeka Kansas and Dena (Dial); his grandchildren, Jay D. Dial (Bethany) of Clovis California, Jenelle Stevens (Paul) of Lowell, Bruce Dial, Brandon Dial, Chava Dial of Topeka Kansas, Timothy Dial (Rachel) and Wendolyn Neptune (Nathaniel) of Sacile; and his children, Sam, Sara, Aiden, Benjamin Stevens, Piper, Hutson Dial, Gauge Dial, Baylee, Easton, Jagger Dial, Colton, MacKenzie, Camden, Cooper Dial, Cameryn Dial, Carsyn Dial, Sheppard and James Neptune.
