Margaret Hillis Obituary

Margaret (Meneses) Hillis, age 64, passed away Monday, November 6, 2017 at her home. Holy Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Deacon Bill Butler officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery with McCoy Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Rosary will be at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at McCoy Chapel of Memories recited by Domingo Castillo. Margaret was born October 13, 1953 in Sweetwater. She married Michael Hillis, Sr. June 16, 1988 in Sweetwater, was a graduate of Sweetwater High School, and lived in Sweetwater all of her life. Margaret worked at Wal-Mart as a sales clerk for ten years, was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Parish and loved being with her grandchildren, reading and listening to music by George Stait and Barry Manilow.

She is survived by her husband Michael Hillis of Sweetwater, daughters; Stephanie Frizzell and fiancé Tim Conni of Fort Worth, Bianca Daniel and husband Jeremy of Roscoe, step-son; Michael Hillis, Jr. and wife Janie of Midland, father; Jesus Meneses of Sweetwater, sisters; Hope Reyna and husband Sammy of Sweetwater, Vicki Gomez and companion Ray Gutierrez of Sweetwater, Laura Flores of Sweetwater, Sue Moncada and husband Julian of Sweetwater and brother; Jerry Meneses of Sweetwater.

Margaret is also survived by her grandchildren; Sienna and Schaelyn Frizzell and Talan and Dylan Daniel. She was preceded in death by her mother Ysidra (Gomez) Meneses, October 16, 1987, sister; Eva Rosas and brothers; Antonio and Patrick Meneses.
