He is survived by: his children, Tina Melendez (Randy) of Sweetwater, Terry Galindo (Jaime) of Sweetwater, Isabel Caballero, Jessica Caballero and Manuel Caballero Jr. of Sweetwater, TX; and his siblings, Adela Soto of Sweetwater, TX, Vita White of Lubbock, TX, Lupe Kidd, Frances Villegas of Roscoe, TX, Patsy Palos of Garland, TX, Frank Caballero and Eddie Caballero of Sweetwater, TX. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
