He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Mendez and Maria Mendez; his daughter Tiffany Mendez; and his siblings, Rudy, Ray, Frank, Cipriano, Lily, Maggie, Soila and Ramona.
He is survived by: his wife Andrea Mendez; his brother Richard Mendez (Francis); and his children, Lonnie Mendez (Rebecca), David Mendez (Ellie), Mary Mendez, Dahlia Mendez, Theresa Mendez and Cassandra Mendez. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, thirty seven great grand children, two great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
