She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Webster Taylor and Linnie Mae Taylor (Jones); her husband Melvin V. Adams; her close friend Ewell E. Snowden (Red); her daughter Lynetta Hanshew; and her siblings, Sarah Frances Jones, Charlie Taylor, Jr. and Don Taylor.
She is survived by: her son Larry T. Adams (Brenda) of Reno, Texas; and her son-in-law Johnny Hanshew of Aledo, Texas. She is also survived by five grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Viewing was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home (403 Locust St, Sweetwater, TX 79556). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM.
