She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Wright and Birdie Wright (Walker); her husband Reverend Robert Sweet; and her son Reginald DeshunAtkins. She is survived by: her children, Wanda Atkins of Sweetwater, Antonio Atkins (Tony) of Sweetwater and Bobby Atkins Jr. (Noel) of Watauga; her stepchildren, Latonya Gaines, Michael Sweet and Craig Anthony Sweet; and her siblings, Wanda Lemmons, Melma Johnson, Albert Wright, Thomas Earl Wright, Charlie Wright Jr. and Clarence V. Wright. She is also survived by Many Step-Children and Grandchildren and Great- Grandchildren.
