He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Smith and Imogene Smith. He is survived by: his wife Margaret McCain Smith of Sweetwater; his daughters, Lisa Adames (Michael) of Sweetwater and Andrea Zant (Don) of Portugal; his grandsons, Justin Adames, Zach Adames, Kendal Adames, Troy Zant and Solomon Zant; and his brother Jimmy Smith (Sharon) of Abilene. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM at the McCoy Funeral Home (401 E 3rd St, Sweetwater, TX 79556). A graveside service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sweetwater Cemetery (2000 W Alabama Ave, Sweetwater, TX 79556).
