We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2024, Jose Chavez of Sweetwater, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Jose shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jose farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including his two sons, three granddaughters and a whole bunch of siblings.
A prayer was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the McCoy Chapel of Memories (401 E 3rd St, Sweetwater, TX 79556). A rosary was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Parish Catholic Church (507 W Alabama Ave, Sweetwater, TX 79556).
