He was predeceased by: his parents, James Daniel "Jimmie" Maddox and June Allen Maddox; and his brother Jim Ty Maddox. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Sue Barnes Maddox; and his children, Marjori Maddox Krebs and Jim Dalton Maddox (Gretchen Bradfield Maddox).
