We are sad to announce that on December 19, 2024, Hollis Howard Head (Sweetwater, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carrie Edna and Ninnie Burks Head Sr.; his wife Alice Louise Smith; and his siblings, Ninnie Head Jr., Nelda Bond, Christine Walker, Cleamtine Wilson and Clarence Head.
He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Adams (Gary) of Sweetwater; his grandchildren, Dustin Head of Brazoria, Tori Rains (Joshua) of Hawley and Tristen Adams (Alana) of Abilene; his great grandchildren, Kyler Head, Harrison Rains and Mason Rains; and his brother Dalton Head (Diana) of Buffalo Gap.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McCoy Funeral Home (401 E 3rd St, Sweetwater, TX 79556). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Lamar Street Baptist Church (513 Lamar St, Sweetwater, TX 79556).
