He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Henry and Edna Pauline Imken (Schlueter); and his grandson Russell Colby Imken. He is survived by: his children, Russell Don Imken (Nancy) of Gary, Texas and Frances Kathleen Posey (Bill) of Manassas, Virginia; his grandchildren, Emily Brown (Chris), Samantha Freeman (Jon) and Chelsi Hay (Paul); and his great grandchildren, Hudson Brown, Allison Grace Imken and Kennedy Freeman.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home (403 Locust St, Sweetwater, TX 79556). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Palava Cemetery (2000 W Alabama Ave, Sweetwater, TX 79556).
