He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Alvy and Ruby Inez Shaffer (Bradberry); his daughters, Cheri Roden (Tony) of Sweetwater, Leigh Angela Foster of Sedan and Carol Shaffer of Eudora; his sister Earlene Head; and his brother-in-law S. C. Head. He was also cherished by grandchildren, (6) great grandchildren.
