We are sad to announce that on June 14, 2023, at the age of 98, Doris Whyte Denton of Sweetwater, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Gordon and Frieda Gordon (Hinkhouse); her former husband Melvin Whyte; her husband Harry Denton; her grandson Ross William Whyte Jones; and her siblings, Robert Gordon, Loren Gordon, Jo Ann Lukken and Jeanne Gelston.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara A. Maaske of Sweetwater, Cynthia Jones of Abilene and Michael Ross Whyte of Cochiti Lake; her grandchildren, Jeannine, Shawn, Jodi, Lori, Robin and Mika; her great grandchildren, Melanie, Kassi, Megan, Kristin, Taylor, Miles, Spencer, Brooke, Conner, Faith, Brett, Cody, Mikey, Joe, Emma and Zoey; her great great grandchildren, Kasen, Christina, John, Aiden, Londyn, Tristan, Danna, Clara, Devin and Declan; her sisters-in-law, Lucille Grell and Nancy Gordon; and her nephew German (Jon Hoyer).
