He was predeceased by: his parents, Glendon F. Smith and Betty F. Smith (Miller); and his brother Marty Smith. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Smith of Sweetwater; his children, Kim Smith of Phoenix and Joshua Smith of Chandler; his stepdaughters, Jennifer Stone (Brad) of Midland, Amy Bright (Chad) of Midland, Sarah Hildebrand (Josh) of Big Spring and Rachel McCready (Nathaniel) of Vandenberg; and his brothers, Mike Smith of Arizona and John Smith (Cindy) of Arizona. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
