He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie and Birdie Lee Wright, Sr. (Walker); his siblings, Wanda Lemmons, Melma Johnson, Charlie Wright, Jr., Albert Wright and Thomas Earl Wright; and his brother-in-law Robert Sweet.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shannon Meredith (Freda Leyba) of Arlington, TX and Linda Sweet of Sweetwater, TX. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
